Pain is the number one human health issue, and as such is of tremendous interest to undergraduates thinking of a career in the health professions. There exist, however, only a handful of courses on pain at the undergraduate level, in part because of the lack of an appropriate textbook. Sorge and his colleagues, young, dynamic pain researchers all, have produced a lively, accurate, and engaging e-textbook – Dynamics of Pain – suitable for use at the undergraduate level and for professional education.
