Dr. Aaron Sholders received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Northern Colorado in 2001. He pursued graduate studies at Colorado State University, earning both his M.S. (2003) and Ph.D. (2006) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Following completion of his doctoral work, he joined the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Colorado State University, where he is now a Professor.
Dr. Sholders' research focuses on STEM education, with an emphasis on the development of learning outcome assessments and other educational assessment tools. In addition to his research, he teaches a wide range of undergraduate classes, where his primary passion lies in fostering student learning and success.
