This book is entitled “NUTRITION FOR YOUR LIFE” because the information contained is written to be used in the reader’s life every day. From the moments of conception to death, we are living and breathing nutritional science. Beyond sharing the science of nutrition, this text will empower students with the tools to maximize daily nutritional habits in order to be their healthiest!
As a practicing Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Lee Murphy, MS-MPH, RDN, LDN, has written this book to be directly applicable to one’s life. This publication is divided into four modules—with each chapter presenting an important nutritional topic. There are short, micro-lectures embedded within each chapter offering further explanations and giving practitioner-level material, examples, and evidence-based data.
