Dr. Chernoh M. Wurie is a former police officer and crime scene technician with ten years of law enforcement experience. He is an educator in forensic crime scene concentration discipline at Virginia Commonwealth University , and the author of Intro to Policing: Perception versus Reality. Through his academic and professional experience, he is committed to preparing the next generation of investigators with the knowledge, skills, and ethical standards necessary to excel in the field. On his part time career, he serves in the Virginia Army National Guard, serves as a sergeant to the Recruitment Sustainment Program in an armory in Northern Virginia. During his share time, he likes to run, read, watch Netflix, and spend time with his family.
