Overview of
Health and Safety for the Health Professions

Discovery

The goal of this resource is to provide health and safety information which allows healthcare workers to perform their job safely. I have taught various health and safety related courses for several years. In general, I have found most textbooks to be broad in nature and address safety from either an industrial or construction perspective. While this works for training future health and safety professionals who will be working in industry, some of the information contained in those books may either not apply to healthcare professionals or not be addressed from their perspective. I want to create a resource which healthcare professionals can immediately use and apply to their specific working conditions.
