Lubomir Bic has been a professor of Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine, since 1980. His main areas of interest are Operating Systems and Distributed Systems. In addition to over 150 scientific publications, he has authored or co-authored 8 books, including several textbooks in Operating Systems.
